Honor GT Pro Launch Date

The Honor GT Pro will be launched in China on 23rd April. The launch event will begin at 2:30 PM local time (12 PM IST). Honor Tablet GT will also be introduced during this event.

The company has started pre-reservations for the GT Pro on its official website in China. As per the listing, the phone will be available in three colour variants — Burning Speed Gold, Ice Crystal, and Phantom Black (translated from Chinese). As seen in the renders, the smartphone will feature a square-shaped rear camera module housing four camera sensors, an LED flash, and GT branding. The front will offer a flat display with a centre punch-hole selfie camera.

Packed with Premium Features

The Honor GT Pro will sit above the standard GT model in the lineup and is expected to bring flagship-level features. It will offer a 144Hz refresh rate display, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone will also come equipped with an Oasis Polarised Eye-Protection Gaming Screen and Rhino Glass Protection. Additional features include dual stereo speakers and a metal middle frame for enhanced durability.

Performance and Battery

The Honor GT Pro is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, ensuring powerful performance. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution support. In the camera department, the phone might come with a 50MP primary sensor. For power, the device is tipped to house a battery larger than 6,000mAh, along with 100W wired fast charging support, making it suitable for gaming and heavy use.

Price and Comparison

The Honor GT Pro is positioned as a premium version of the standard Honor GT. To recall, the standard GT was launched in China back in December at a starting price of CNY 2,199 (approximately ₹25,000). That model came with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The standard GT featured a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 50MP dual rear cameras, and a 5,300mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
