The 2025 RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition laptop was officially launched in China on 27 May 2025. This laptop has been launched only in China for now, and Xiaomi has not yet shared any clear information about its global availability.
However, it is expected that this model will soon enter international markets as well. Xiaomi has launched two variants of this model. The first variant comes with the AMD Ryzen 5 7535H processor, priced at CNY 3,299, which is approximately ₹38,500. Meanwhile, the second variant has been introduced with the AMD Ryzen 7 7735H, priced at CNY 3,699, i.e. around ₹43,000.

In terms of performance, two AMD Ryzen options have been provided in the 2025 RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition — Ryzen 5 7535H and Ryzen 7 7735H — both based on Zen 3+ architecture. The Ryzen 5 variant has Radeon 660M integrated graphics, and the Ryzen 7 variant has Radeon 680M graphics. This laptop comes with 16GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it includes a 512GB SSD, which can be upgraded up to 2TB.
The laptop features a 14-inch Full HD (1920×1080) resolution display with 100% sRGB color coverage. The RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition weighs only 1.35 kg and is 15.9 mm thick. The keyboard comes with an international ANSI layout, which may prove to be a bit uncomfortable for some users in markets like India.

The laptop has a 56Wh battery that provides about 17.8 hours of battery life during Full HD video playback. The included 68W charger can charge the battery up to 58% in just 31 minutes.
Xiaomi has equipped it with its Hurricane cooling system, which maintains a stable performance of 37W. This means that the laptop does not heat up even during prolonged use.
The RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition offers many modern connectivity ports. These include two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a standard USB-A port, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For wireless connectivity, it features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.
This laptop runs on Windows 11 and is optimized with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. It also offers the HyperOS Connect feature. It delivers strong sound quality with DTS audio support and includes a 2MP webcam for video calls.
This excellent laptop also has some drawbacks that cannot be ignored. The first drawback is its international ANSI keyboard layout, which can cause inconvenience for Indian users. Secondly, this laptop is currently limited to the Chinese market, and if someone imports it to India, the price may be higher and the warranty will not be valid. Additionally, it lacks USB 4.0 and Thunderbolt support, which can be considered a major drawback for some professional users.
