Redmi is all set to launch two of its premium devices in the market, one of which is the K80 Extreme Edition, also referred to as the Redmi K80 Ultra. This upcoming smartphone will feature the high-end Dimensity 9400+ SoC, and is expected to arrive with the most premium build quality ever seen in the K-series, along with a large and captivating display.

Colors Confirmation

According to the information revealed so far, the smartphones will be available in two color options – Green and White. Alongside the K80 Ultra, a new tablet named Redmi K Pad will also be launched, powered by the same Dimensity 9400+ processor. This has led to both being described as “dual Dimensity 9400+ flagships”.

Recently, the front display panels of both devices were leaked, revealing curved corners on each. However, the K80 Ultra stands out with its more edge-to-edge display, resulting in an impressive screen-to-body ratio that enhances its premium appeal.

The Redmi K80 Ultra is being hailed as the brand’s thinnest bezel device to date. While the display isn’t entirely flat, it will feature a subtle 2.5K curve, which sets it apart from many other flagship Android phones.

Both devices – the K80 Ultra and the K Pad – will run on HyperOS 2 and will be available in Green and White color options. Additionally, the K Pad will also come in an exclusive Purple variant.

According to renowned tech tipster Digital Chat Station, the build quality of the Redmi K80 Ultra has been enhanced even further. It is expected to feature a top-end ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and symmetrical dual speakers, elevating the user experience. Redmi will officially launch both the K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad on June 18, 2025.
