Xiaomi is preparing to make a bold move in the premium mid-range segment with the launch of the Poco F7 and it’s aiming directly at the upcoming Nothing Phone 3. The Poco F7 is not just expected to launch earlier, but also at a significantly lower price, even though both phones will share the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

According to the latest updates, Xiaomi is teasing the launch price ahead of the official reveal on June 24. The Poco F7 is expected to come with a massive battery capacity, one that will outdo its Pro sibling, the Poco F7 Pro, and still manage to cost less than last year’s Poco F6. Reports suggest the price in India will stay under ₹35,000, which roughly converts to $405 far cheaper than the Nothing Phone (3), which is rumored to start at $799 in the US and €799 in Europe.

While Xiaomi hasn’t officially revealed the price yet, popular leaker Sanju Choudhary claims the Poco F7 will start with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which already makes it a better deal than the Poco F6, which had a higher base price for lower specs.

POCO F7, set to launch on June 24, 2025, features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, a 4nm chip with a peak AnTuTu score exceeding 2 million, offering a significant performance leap over predecessors like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, as validated by Geekbench 6.4.0 tests on a similar Xiaomi 25053PC47G model.

Priced under ₹35,000 in India, the F7 undercuts competitors like the Nothing Phone (3), expected at ₹44,990, leveraging its shared Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM to target the mass-market segment, a strategy supported by India’s 2023 smartphone market data showing 80% of sales in the sub-₹40,000 range.
