Honor’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the Magic V Flip2, has been spotted publicly for the first time. According to reports, it is expected to enter the pre-release phase next week, with an official launch likely to take place in August. This next compact foldable device from the company may arrive with significant upgrades—particularly in battery life, performance, and display quality.
Leaks suggest that the Honor Magic V Flip2 may come equipped with a 5500mAh battery and support for 80W fast charging. This could make it one of the longest-lasting foldable phones available. Additionally, while retaining the previous generation’s 4.0-inch super-large LTPO external screen, the device is expected to offer improved image quality and enhanced crease optimization.

In terms of design, the new V Flip2 looks more modern. Its slim frame, narrow bezels, and punch-hole camera give it a premium appearance. According to sources, the exterior may resemble Samsung’s compact foldables, but in terms of battery capacity, it could outshine its rivals.
The Honor Magic V Flip2 is expected to be priced at around 4,999 yuan (approximately ₹57,000). The company may begin promotional teasers and user registrations as early as next week, indicating that the August launch is on track.
With this device, Honor aims to carve out a new position in the compact foldable smartphone market. By addressing key concerns such as battery endurance, display quality, and crease management, the Magic V Flip2 is being positioned as a practical, daily-use-friendly foldable phone.
The Honor Magic V Flip2 appears not only more refined in terms of design and display, but also stands out as one of the most practical options in its segment, thanks to features like long battery life and improved crease control. Following its launch in August, it could pose a direct challenge to brands like Samsung and Motorola.
