While some leaks initially downplayed the scope of Huawei’s innovations, a new report from a credible source, Weibo’s Digital Chat Station, confirms that the Pura 80 Ultra will debut cutting-edge technology to redefine smartphone photography and aesthetics.
According to the report, the Pura 80 Ultra will feature a revolutionary 1-inch Xmage main sensor with a variable aperture, enabling unparalleled low-light performance and dynamic range. This sensor, paired with Huawei’s SuperPixGain HDR 2.0, is expected to significantly enhance image quality, surpassing competitors like the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. Additionally, the device is rumored to incorporate a dual periscope telephoto system, potentially a world-first, integrating multiple focal lengths to shrink the camera module while maintaining exceptional zoom capabilities. This advancement will lead to a sleeker, more compact camera hump without compromising performance.
