OPPO is preparing to unveil its next-generation flagship, the Find X9 Pro, which is expected to debut in China within the next month or two, followed by a global rollout later this year. The India launch is likely to take place in late November, and the smartphone is already creating buzz due to its ambitious camera setup and major hardware upgrades.
Display and Design
The OPPO Find X9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to have a premium metal frame, support dual stereo speakers, and bring an IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance rating, making it one of the most durable flagships in the market. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be embedded under the display, while an IR blaster and X-axis haptic motor are also confirmed.
Camera System – The Big Highlight
The spotlight of the Find X9 Pro is undoubtedly its camera system. In collaboration with Hasselblad, OPPO is pushing boundaries with a triple-lens setup:
- 50MP Sony LYT-828 (1/1.28″, f/1.5, OIS) main sensor
- 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide (1/2.75″)
- 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto (1/1.56″, f/2.1, OIS) with support for telephoto macro photography as close as 10cm
On the front, users will get a 50MP JN5 selfie camera, making this one of the most advanced setups for both photography and videography. Alongside Hasselblad tuning, OPPO is introducing LUMO Condensed Imaging, an advanced computational photography engine designed to deliver natural colors, sharper details, and improved low-light performance.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the OPPO Find X9 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for flagship-grade performance. It will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, offering next-generation AI features and a refreshed interface.
Battery and Charging
Powering the Find X9 Pro is a massive 7,500mAh battery, a significant leap over last year’s Find X8 Pro. The device will support 80W/100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite the large battery capacity.
Other Features
The phone will also bring NFC support, a USB Type-C 3.2 port, and a new Plus Key (name may differ in the final release), which is expected to act as a customizable shortcut button, similar to the camera-focused Quick Button seen on the Find X8 Pro.
Expected Pricing and Availability
While official pricing is yet to be announced, the Find X9 Pro is expected to carry a premium tag similar to its predecessor. In China, the launch is likely to happen in September or October, with India availability expected by late November.
