The smartphone is expected to be officially introduced on March 17. While the launch date appears close, the availability of the device may vary depending on different markets. The leaked information suggests that the phone is designed mainly for users who want strong performance and long battery life for heavy daily usage.

Powerful Processor and Improved Cooling

The leaked documents indicate that the POCO X8 Pro Max could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. This chipset is designed to handle demanding tasks such as gaming, multitasking, and running heavy applications smoothly.

To maintain stable performance during long usage sessions, the device is expected to include an advanced cooling system with a vapor chamber. This cooling system helps control heat generated by the processor and prevents performance drops during intensive use.

Large Battery With Fast Charging

One of the biggest highlights mentioned in the leak is the 8500mAh battery, which is much larger than what is usually seen in most smartphones today. With this capacity, the phone is expected to last for a long time even with regular usage.

The device is also likely to support 100W wired fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge quickly when needed. In addition, 27W reverse wireless charging could also be available, which means the phone can charge other compatible devices such as earbuds or smartwatches.

Display Designed for Bright and Smooth Viewing

On the front, the smartphone may feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. The screen is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps provide smooth scrolling and better viewing while browsing or watching videos.

The display could reach up to 3500 nits peak brightness, which helps users clearly see the screen even in strong sunlight. The panel is also expected to support 3840Hz PWM dimming, a technology that reduces flickering and helps reduce eye strain during long usage.

RAM and Storage Options

According to the leak, the phone may offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. This allows smoother multitasking and quick switching between multiple applications running in the background.

The internal storage may go up to 512GB using UFS 4.1 technology, which provides faster read and write speeds. This helps apps open quickly and allows large files to transfer faster.

Camera Setup for Photography

In the camera section, the smartphone is expected to include a 50-megapixel main camera with Light Hunter 600 technology. This sensor is designed to capture clearer images and improve photo quality in low-light conditions.

Along with the main camera, the device may also include an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens for wider shots. For selfies and video calls, the front of the phone could feature a 20-megapixel camera.

Connectivity, Durability and Other Features

The connectivity features of the device are expected to include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an infrared blaster that allows the phone to control compatible home appliances such as TVs and air conditioners.

For security, the device may include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner placed under the display, offering fast and accurate unlocking.

The smartphone could also come with IP68 and IP69K ratings, which indicate strong protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water.

Software and Audio Experience

The device is expected to run Android 16 out of the box, along with the company’s HyperOS 3 interface. This software is designed to provide smoother animations, better power optimization, and improved integration with other smart devices.

For audio, the phone may include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, offering a more immersive sound experience for videos, music, and gaming.
