RedMagic has recently launched its new gaming tablet, RedMagic Nova, in the global market. Apart from this, the company is going to launch another new gaming tablet in China on June 11, 2025, whose model name has not been revealed yet. This tablet is considered to be the main rival of Lenovo Legion Y700 (2025).

This RedMagic tablet has a 9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 pixels. It is slightly larger than the 8.8-inch display of the Lenovo Legion Y700, but there is a slight decrease in pixel density. For processing, it uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which was also seen in the RedMagic 10 Pro smartphone. This processor is quite suitable for high-end gaming.

The RedMagic Nova has a large 8,240mAh battery, which is more capable than Lenovo’s 6,550mAh battery. It also has a built-in cooling fan to keep the device cool during gaming. Talking about the design, the tablet has very thin and uniform bezels, which further improve its premium look.
RedMagic’s new tablet will be launched in China on June 11, 2025. At the same time, RedMagic Nova has already been launched in the global market, and it is estimated that the new tablet will also hit the international market soon.
Lenovo Legion Y700 (2025)
Lenovo Legion Y700 (2025), also known as Legion Tab Gen 4, was recently launched in China on 8 May 2025. The device comes with a compact design and powerful hardware, specially designed for gamers. This launch has been confirmed by reputable tech sources like @gizmochina and @TechlusiveOFCL on X.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 has an 8.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This display comes with a high refresh rate of 165Hz and DC dimming technology. For processing, it also has the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, but it features LPDDR5X “Ultra” RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which provide fast performance.


Talking about the battery, it has a 6,550mAh battery, which gets 68W fast charging support. Apart from this, keeping gaming in mind, a large vapor chamber (VC) cooler has also been installed in it, which protects the tablet from heating and ensures stable performance. In terms of design, this tablet is only 6.99mm thick and weighs 340 grams, making it extremely portable. It is available in two colors – Carbon Crystal Black and Ice White.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2025) was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 3,299 (about $457). This tablet will soon be launched in the global market as Legion Tab Gen 4 and is available for pre-order through online retailers like Giztop at a price of $599.
