Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its next big mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, with the official unveiling set for August 21, 2025, in China. Following the China debut, the smartphone is expected to arrive in the Indian market in Q4 2025, just ahead of the festive season.
The Redmi Note series has long been one of Xiaomi’s best-selling lineups in India, and the Note 15 Pro+ is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious entries yet, offering a premium display, a massive battery, and improved performance.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+: Expected Specifications and Features
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is confirmed to feature a 6.83-inch quad-curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. For protection, Xiaomi is introducing its Dragon Crystal Glass, making the device more durable against drops and scratches.
Powering the phone will be a massive 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging support. Xiaomi also claims the battery is rated for up to 1,600 charge cycles, which should ensure long-lasting performance over years of usage.
In terms of performance, the Note 15 Pro+ has already appeared on Geekbench, scoring 1,228 in single-core and 3,230 in multi-core tests. This strongly suggests that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with efficient power management for the huge battery.
Launch Timeline
The China launch is scheduled for August 21, 2025, with availability beginning shortly after. In India, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is expected to launch in Q4 2025, likely around the festive sales period.
What to Expect in India
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether the Indian model will match the Chinese variant in every specification, but the design and major features are expected to remain unchanged. With its massive battery, premium display, and Snapdragon chipset, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will target the upper mid-range segment, competing with brands like iQOO, Realme, and OnePlus.
