Samsung is all set to make a splash once again in July 2025 with its upcoming foldable smartphones. According to the latest leaks, the prices of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 in the U.S. will remain unchanged from the previous generation. This comes as welcome news for users frustrated by yearly price hikes.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Display
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will retain the familiar folding design with premium build quality, but this time, it will feature a titanium backplate, which is lighter and thinner than carbon fiber (CFRP). This makes the phone not only sturdier but also slimmer in feel—though still not as thin as the Oppo Find N5.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Performance
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 ‘Elite’ chipset, making it ultra-fast and powerful. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 may feature an Exynos processor, particularly in the U.S. market. The Flip7 could also get a slightly larger battery, which would offer improved backup.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Battery and Features
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to have the same battery capacity as the Fold6, meaning no major change in this department. The Flip7 might receive a small battery upgrade, though it hasn’t been officially confirmed. Both phones will come with fast charging, 5G support, and the latest One UI interface.
Price and Availability
According to leaker PandaFlashPro, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be priced at $1,899 and the Z Flip7 at $1,099—the same as the Fold6 and Flip6. This means users in markets like the U.S. won’t have to pay extra, although there could be slight price increases in some other countries. However, it’s still unclear which specific markets will see a price change.
For context, the Fold6 and Flip6 were $100 more expensive than their predecessors, the Fold5 and Flip5. So this year’s stable pricing is definitely a relief for buyers.
