Samsung’s next mid-range contender has quietly surfaced in new performance leaks. According to a fresh listing spotted on Geekbench, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A37—carrying model number SM-A376B—has made its first benchmark appearance, hinting at notable upgrades over its predecessor.
The device was tested on Geekbench 6.5.0, where it achieved 1158 points in single-core and 3401 points in multi-core performance. These results suggest solid improvements, especially considering that the unit tested is likely an engineering prototype. Retail models typically receive further tuning, so slightly higher numbers can be expected at launch.
What’s more interesting is the hardware running behind the scenes. The Galaxy A37 is powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1480 chipset. The listing also confirms Android 16 out of the box and 6GB of RAM, though additional memory configurations are highly likely once Samsung officially unveils the lineup.
For reference, the previous Galaxy A36 used Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which recorded 1007 (single-core) and 2917 (multi-core) in the same benchmark. The A37’s early scores mark a noticeable step forward, hinting at stronger overall performance and potentially better efficiency.
