Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Samsung launches its Galaxy S-series every year in January or February, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to follow this trend. According to the latest leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 21, 2026, and its sale may start from February 4, 2026. However, these dates are still estimated and await official confirmation.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to feature a thin (8.25mm) titanium body with a flat-sided design and rounded corners like the Galaxy S25 Ultra. As per the leaks, the device could come with even thinner bezels and a 7.1-inch AMOLED display, which would be the largest display in the S-series so far.

The phone could feature an M15 AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Some leaks mention Colour-filter-on-thin-film-encapsulation (CoE) technology.

Some leaks claim that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a 12MP under-display selfie camera instead of a punch-hole cutout, which would offer a full-screen experience. There may also be a 200MP primary camera with 4x optical zoom, competing with rivals like the Vivo X200 Pro. However, some leakers have rejected this feature, so it is yet to be confirmed.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which will be based on a 3nm process and offer a 5GHz clock speed. Some regions may use the Exynos 2600 chipset, which will deliver 12% better performance and 25% more power efficiency.

The device may come with options of 12GB or 16GB of RAM and UFS 4.1 storage (256GB, 512GB, 1TB). It will run on One UI 8.5, which will be based on Android 16. Samsung may promise to provide software updates for 7 years, meaning this device will remain updated until 2033.

Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature a 5,500mAh to 5,750mAh silicon-carbon battery using stacked battery technology. This would be a significant upgrade from the 5,000mAh battery in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Additionally, 65W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging are expected.
