Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold: Samsung will launch its first tri-fold phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold, with a double inward folding design. It features a G-shaped folding mechanism. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold is only available in South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE, and the United States. It is expected to hit the global market by early next year.
Samsung stated in an official statement that this form factor should have been released much earlier, claiming it would take foldable technology to new heights and showcase top-notch engineering capabilities. The slim body rivals the Z Fold 7.

Surprisingly, this tri-fold phone can’t be double-folded! The price is also flagship-level, starting at 3,590,400 Korean won (approximately 2,19,999 rupees). It will first go on sale in South Korea on December 12th and Samsung Galaxy S26 series will also launch in February 2026.
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold looks stunning with a ceramic-glass fiber reinforced polymer back panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It has a 5600mAh battery with a 3-cell design that comes with 45W charging. Talking about its thickness, it measures 3.9 mm when unfolded and 12.9 mm when folded. Its total weight is 309 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold has a maximum screen size of 10 inches, which folds down to 6.5 inches. It comes with a 120Hz high refresh rate, 2600 nits of brightness on the outer screen and 1600 nits on the inner screen. For strong performance, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is a great combination with 5G network support, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

It’s notable feature is that its camera system is identical to the Galaxy Z Fold7. The camera setup includes a 12MP ultra-wide + 200MP main + 10MP telephoto camera, the same configuration as the Fold7.
Real images of Samsung’s tri-fold Galaxy Z TriFold have surfaced. The crease in Samsung’s tri-fold design appears deeper than Samsung’s dual-fold design, and the bezels are significantly wider, with rounded edges.
