Samsung is now preparing to reign once again in the foldable smartphone world. According to some leaked reports, the company is planning major changes with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to the information received so far, the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may be postponed to mid-July instead of the first week of July. However, there is no official confirmation of this date yet.
The design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be slimmer and more lightweight than before. According to reports, its thickness could be just between 3.9mm to 4.5mm, and the weight will be around 209 grams. That means easier handling and better pocket fit this time!
This time, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, known for high performance. It could be paired with a large 6000mAh battery, which will also support 90W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
Dual Display and Camera Upgrade
Leaks suggest that the phone will feature an 8.03″ 2K 120Hz OLED folding display and a 6.53″ FHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED screen on the outside. Both displays are designed for high brightness and smooth scrolling. Talking about the camera setup, it may have a 50+50+50MP triple camera setup, offering even better photo quality with 3x zoom. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is expected.
When Will It Launch?
Now coming to the launch while the company has not confirmed anything yet, reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE in mid-July 2025. This time, Samsung is all set to compete with brands like Vivo and Honor in the foldable market.
