Dual Display with 2K AMOLED

The Vivo X Fold 5 will feature a dual-screen setup designed for an immersive experience. The outer screen is a 6.53-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth responsiveness for everyday use. Unfold the device, and you’re greeted with a stunning 8.03-inch 2K+ AMOLED flexible display, also supporting 120Hz refresh, making it ideal for multitasking, gaming, and media consumption.

Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Massive RAM

Under the hood, the X Fold 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This setup ensures smooth performance even during heavy multitasking or gaming sessions. Vivo has opted for this chipset likely to strike a balance between flagship power and optimized cost.

Battery with Charging

A major highlight of the Vivo X Fold 5 is its 6000mAh battery, one of the largest capacities seen in a foldable phone. It supports 90W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging, ensuring you’re never far from a quick top-up.

Pro-Level Triple Camera

Photography gets a significant boost with a triple 50MP rear camera setup, featuring:

  • A 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor
  • A 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus
  • A 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

Both the cover and inner displays house 32MP selfie cameras, so users get excellent photo quality from any angle.

Ultra-Slim and Stylish Foldable Design

Despite its high-end internals, the Vivo X Fold 5 maintains a slim 4.3mm profile when unfolded and just 9.33mm when folded. Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3-step Alert Slider, AI enhancements, and water resistance (IP rating yet to be confirmed).

Conclusion

From what we know so far, the Vivo X Fold 5 is shaping up to be a powerful and refined foldable device that balances performance, camera quality, and an ultra-slim design. With its combination of a large 6000mAh battery, 2K foldable display, and triple 50MP cameras, it’s likely to be a strong contender in the foldable smartphone market.
