With the imminent launch of the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s, Vivo is once again positioning itself at the forefront of mobile imaging innovation, aligning with its annual research and development (R&D) strategy. Traditionally, the company utilizes this phase to introduce its X-series with cutting-edge imaging capabilities, establishing these devices as professional-grade smartphones.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is developed around the concept of a “Professional V-Segment Camera,” integrating principles derived from professional camera engineering. It features a 3+2 Zeiss Master Lens configuration, enabling high-end video production across multiple focal lengths. This setup allows users to capture cinematic-quality video directly across various focal ranges. Additionally, Vivo’s advanced color processing technology, combined with the industry-first 400mm Zeiss teleconverter, offers extensive creative flexibility. This ensures a well-balanced performance between photography and videography.

The X300 Ultra is positioned as the “Ultra of Mobiles” and the “V-Segment Camera of Cameras”—a compact yet powerful solution that fits in your pocket. It is further described as a “super-powerful mini DSLR,” and is claimed to be the most advanced product in the history of the X-series.

From a hardware standpoint, the device features a 6.78-inch flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering an enhanced audio-visual experience along with improved touch responsiveness. It is also equipped with a 7100mAh “Blue Ocean” battery, designed for extended usage and capable of supporting accessories such as the Zeiss teleconverter. In line with the Ultra series, the device supports native color science, classic camera styles, and a “Blueprint” color palette, making it particularly suitable for portrait photography and reinforcing its identity as a film-style mini DSLR.

On the other hand, the Vivo X300s is introduced as a reliable and balanced alternative—especially for users seeking a capable device without stepping into the ultra-premium category.

Both devices are designed with DSLR-style content creators in mind, whether they are professional photographers or digital creators documenting everyday life. From concerts and sports events to street photography and travel, these smartphones aim to deliver versatile performance across a wide range of scenarios.

In the current landscape of mobile imaging, capturing clarity alone is no longer the primary challenge. The real complexity lies in effectively representing texture, emotional depth, and narrative structure. Cinematic quality depends on two critical dimensions: high production value and superior image quality. Beyond that, the ability to capture emotions within a frame—transforming ordinary moments into compelling stories—defines true visual artistry.

The Vivo X300 Ultra integrates all these dimensions, enabling users to capture cinematic color science, nuanced light and shadow dynamics, and impactful visual storytelling within a pocket-sized device. As a result, even everyday scenes can be transformed into cinematic experiences, making the creative process more accessible, expressive, and powerful.

Vivo’s vision is clear: everyone has the potential to be a creator, and devices like the Vivo X300 Ultra are designed to help unlock and realize that potential.
