A new report has surfaced via XpertPick, revealing early details about an upcoming Vivo smartphone the Vivo Y400 Pro, likely to be part of the brand’s Y-series lineup in India. While the company is gearing up to launch the Vivo X200 FE and X Fold 5 foldables in July, the Y400 Pro appears set for an earlier debut, potentially within this month.

The leaked information points to a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 4500 nits. While the screen resolution and refresh rate haven’t been officially confirmed, current speculation hints at a Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display design aims to deliver a premium viewing experience, with curved edges enhancing its visual appeal.
Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset, positioning it as a capable mid-range performer. It will reportedly house a 5500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging, allowing for quick top-ups and extended usage.
In terms of optics, the Y400 Pro is expected to include a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, while the rear will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh lens. The rear camera module, aligned vertically, will also house a squircle LED flash, and both camera systems are tipped to support 4K video recording and portrait photography with multiple focal lengths.
On the software front, Vivo is reportedly integrating a suite of AI-driven features, including AI Transcript Assist, AI Superlink, AI Note Assist, AI Screen Translation, and Circle to Search with Google. The device is also expected to include an IR blaster, adding smart-home control capabilities.
Color variants are said to include Nebula Purple, Festival Gold, and Freestyle White. Storage configurations will likely start at 8GB RAM with options for 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The expected price point is around ₹25,000, making it a competitive offering in the mid-range segment.
