Vivo has officially introduced its mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V50 Lite 5G, in select global markets, including Spain, as of March 20, 2025. While the device is already listed on Vivo’s official e-store in Europe, there has been no official confirmation regarding its launch in India. However, based on market trends, a regional debut is expected in the near future.

The V50 Lite 5G sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ pOLED display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. The display offers a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio, suggesting a nearly bezel-less viewing experience. Despite being positioned as a mid-range device, Vivo has incorporated several premium-grade design elements, including IP65 dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for drop protection. The handset weighs approximately 197 grams and measures 7.79mm in thickness.

Under the hood, the 5G model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, whereas the 4G variant is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset. Memory configurations include 8GB and 12GB RAM, with storage options ranging from 256GB to 512GB. It is worth noting that the device lacks support for microSD card expansion.

In terms of imaging, the rear camera module includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture. The 5G version features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, while the 4G model is fitted with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the smartphone offers a 32MP selfie camera, designed to deliver enhanced results for selfies and video conferencing.

The V50 Lite 5G is equipped with a 6500mAh battery, which supports 90W fast wired charging. The device also includes reverse charging capability, allowing it to power other accessories or smartphones. Vivo has yet to disclose official endurance metrics for this configuration.

Expected Launch and Price

The device is available in several color variants including Black, Gold, and Purple, with certain regions also receiving a Green color option. While the phone has launched internationally, Vivo has not confirmed its pricing or availability for the Indian market. According to some reports, this smartphone Vivo V50 Lite 5g can be launched by June – July 2025, Still, given the brand’s historical rollout patterns, a launch in India may follow soon.
