Xiaomi has officially announced its new flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 15S Pro, which is being launched to commemorate the company’s 15th anniversary. The phone comes with Xiaomi’s first in-house chipset, the XRING O1. The Xiaomi 15S Pro will launch alongside the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra at a major event in China on May 22, 2025.

Xiaomi 15S Pro follows the design of the Xiaomi 15 Pro but includes some new elements, such as the Dragon Scale Fiber Variant and Ceramic Camera Deco. The XRING branding near the camera module and the vertical flash unit give it a unique look. The phone features a 6.73-inch 2K quad-curved OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 3200 nits peak brightness.

Xiaomi’s first in-house chipset, the XRING O1, is built on a 3nm process. In Geekbench tests, it performs on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and has an AnTuTu score of over 2.5 million, which is comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The phone will be available in 12GB or 16GB RAM options, with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro features a Leica-tuned triple 50MP camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide + macro camera, and a 50MP Sony telephoto camera. On the front, there is a 32MP camera. This camera setup supports 4K and 8K video recording, Dolby Vision, and AI-supported image editing features like AI Erase Pro and Image Expansion.

The phone packs a large 6100mAh battery, which ensures long battery life with Silicon-Carbon Technology. As for charging, it supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, optimized by the Xiaomi G1 battery management chip.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will be launched in China on May 22, 2025. However, there is no official information yet about its India or global launch. According to some reports, its price in India is expected to be around ₹74,990.
