Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra will be unveiled at a major launch event on May 22, 2025. The event will coincide with Xiaomi’s 15th anniversary celebrations, which will also feature the launch of the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone and the YU7 electric SUV. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM CST (4:30 PM IST) in China.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra features a large 14-inch OLED display with a 3.2K resolution. This display is designed with ultra-thin 3.95mm bezels. The tablet has a thickness of just 5.1mm, making it comparable to the 13-inch M4 iPad Pro. It weighs 609 grams, which is quite light for a device with such a large screen.

Xiaomi has incorporated a magnesium alloy keyboard support and a sturdy structure, giving the tablet a premium look and feel. The display is expected to feature either a central hole-punch cutout or a wide notch. According to leaks, the tablet will be available in attractive colors such as Black and Misty Gray Purple.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is powered by Xiaomi’s first in-house chipset, the XRING O1, based on a 3nm process. This chipset delivers performance comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, as seen in Geekbench 6 test results.
The tablet will be available in configurations such as 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. It is backed by a massive 12,000mAh battery, which supports 120W fast charging, making it one of the fastest-charging tablets on the market.

However, it is still unclear when the tablet will be available in the global market. According to some reports, Xiaomi usually releases its tablets internationally, so a global launch can be expected.
