After months of anticipation, Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X100 Ultra, and it lives up to the hype with groundbreaking features and top-tier technology. Designed to be the ultimate photography flagship, the X100 Ultra delivers cutting-edge imaging solutions for every scenario—from underwater shots to professional-grade street portraits. It’s no exaggeration to say Vivo pulled out all the stops, bringing serious power to both hardware and software.

The Vivo X100 Ultra sports a unique design crafted through a fine photolithography brushed process, merging square and round elements on a floating glass surface. The iconic sun ring cloud step is preserved, giving the phone a refined and recognizable look. It’s available in three color variants: Titanium, Grey, and White.

At the heart of the X100 Ultra is a one-inch gimbal-level main camera equipped with Vivo’s exclusive precision leap technology, enhancing light control accuracy and image clarity by over 20%. This module also features ZEISS T* coating and introduces the industry-first GLC nano-coating to eliminate ghosting and fogging. It boasts 1.5-degree hardware stabilization with an overall stabilization angle reaching 2 degrees—meeting the highest standard in the industry, CIPA 4.5.

The star of the show is the 200MP Zeiss APO Super Telephoto camera, paired with a large 1/1.4 sensor and FCD100 fluorite-grade glass lens with an Abbe number of 95. It supports Zeiss APO-level chromatic aberration control and introduces an advanced telephoto macro mode with 20x magnification, telephoto portrait mode at 85mm, and Vivo’s BlueImage human eye focusing algorithm. It also includes the “Concert Artifact,” a special telephoto mode built for long-distance stage photography, complete with studio-grade microphone recording and 30x HD capture.

Video capabilities are equally impressive, with support for 4K cinematic portrait video, 4K 120fps recording, and 4K Dolby Vision. It even supports diving photography and 3D photo and video capture. The new humanistic street photography mode redesigns the user interface for intuitive operation, while the upgraded “Black & White Color” and “Texture Color” modes deliver rich detail and visual emotion.

The Vivo X100 Ultra features a 6.78-inch 3200×1440 OLED hyperbolic display using Samsung E7 material. It supports a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, peaks at 3000 nits local brightness, and uses 1440Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort. Under the hood, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and offers features like ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, an X-axis linear motor, and aptX Lossless audio.

Powering the phone is a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It weighs around 229g and supports 5.5G networks and bi-directional satellite communication.

As for pricing, the Vivo X100 Ultra starts at 6499 yuan for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 16GB + 512GB model is priced at 7299 yuan, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB Satcom version comes in at 7999 yuan.
